As stated, the driver side mirror shakes/wobbles/vibrates when driving the car. It isnt the mirror housing itself, but appears to be the mirror itself thats a little loose. Anyway to tighten it up inside the housing??

mine does too. especially annoying with subs

Is it power? Try moving it all the way to one side and see if there are bolts to hold it down.
Since its happening to all of us including me... maybe its just normal with these cars?
same here.
This is just like rear suspension squeeks and door panel cracking...it's a common f-body problem, get over it :dunno:
so rear driver side squeaks are normal? thats good to hear.
Pull the mirror out and see of the scres are loose. There are (2) screws behind the glass and (1) where the mirror bolts on. To pull the mirror off, you need to run it all the way in so that if you were sitting in the car, you could see yourself. Pull on the glass towars the window. It will pop and make a sound as if you broke it. Relax, it is not broken. They are made to come apart. Tighten the screws up and your done.
or do like I did on my 75 cutlass.....wedge an empty cigarette pack under it. I don't smoke anymore so I'd have to find something else about the size of a cig pack to do it these days. :D
Mine did it after my tranny mount got replaced with a poly mount
Mine was doing it also. I pulled the mirror of and made sure all screws where tight. Mirror still shook. I noticed (on driver side) if you look on the upper left hand side the plastic rest against itself and has some foam there, if you press the foam behind the plastic, and then wedge it back together the shaking will go away. Sorry for the run on sentence.
This worked for me, good luck
