Yesterday on the way to fix my kegerator...
On the way to get some parts for the kegerator, I came up on a 90 (?) 'Vette, he had at least exhaust. I was behind him when the light turned green, so I let him go a little then mashed it in first. He must've been looking because I saw a little black smoke from him and his car squatted and took off. Well, I shifted into 2nd early (4300) and by the time I was into third he was getting smaller in the mirrior. We were pretty even until the LS1 got back into its power band in 2nd, then it was bye-bye for him. I normally shift around 6000.
At first I thought this was an LT1 'Vette because he had the wide rectangular exhaust tips, but then he had "tuned port" in script on the side. From a dig at the next light it was even worse for him, he gave me props and said nice car. His car had some nice dark red metallic paint.
Wow the weather has been perfect here lately, 78-82, sunny and low humidity, perfect for t-top driving.
