Does your title say WS6 or forumula?
Firebird Formula. But that will vary state to state I would imagine.
Firebird I believe.
ok just wanted to make sure. thanks
Firebird Trans Am
firebird trans am
Title, insurance both say Firebird Trans Am.
The Trans Am's will have the WS9 (formula) RPO code though.
Mine says Firebird Trans Am, but it also says WS6 Performance Package
my title says "firebird formula trans am"
Firebird TransAm/Formula
Firebird Trans Am
Firebird/Formula
I don't think the Motor Vehicle people actually know what our cars are. They are all Firebirds, but some are Formulas, some are Trans Ams.
So I guess most states just list all three to cover the bases
All Transams/Firehawks/WS.6s started life as a Formula....than were treated to the change over. this is why the majority of Insurance companys/DMVs will classify them as a Formula. Trans am/Firehawk/Ws.6 is just a trim level which generally doesnt show up on title's or registrations.
Insurance = 1999 Pont FR/Trans/RA (1999 Pontiac Formula/Trans am/Ram air, I'm guessing)
True, but a Trans Am isn't a Formula, it merely starts with the formula packaging. Its a very different car exterior wise, front bumper, rockers, rear bumper, ect. Those kinds of things make a big difference to the insurance company when they are doing a claim, in order to get accurate information they should know exactly what kind of vehicle it is. The Trans Am facias are much more expensive than the V6/Formula facias I'm sure.
Title, huh? I'm still paying....
Wow, really exciting, my title says the model is a "FV2G" under type it says "2DR"
On the registration is says the type is a "2D" and model is a "FTA" for Firebird Trans Am I suppose.
