I have a Silverado Gen III 6.0 in my rockbuggy. The harness and computer work was done by Schwanke in MN and the idle is too high.
I need some help in the Central MS area. Anyone know a person in my area that can hook a laptop up and aldjust my idle for me?
Hey man, there is a place in Tupelo that does all kinds of tuning for Gen III motors... I don't remember the name of the place, but i could find out if you haven't already figured out the problem. Plus check for vacuum leaks, and if its electronic throttle take it to an autozone and get them to check out the throttle positioning sensor. If its reading higher than 0% it will make it idle high. Other than that, see if you can change the idle set screw any lower, and check the butterfly and make sure there isn't any crud holding it open... Hope this helps
Hec33 where is this tuning shop in Tupelo located? and do they work on ls1 cars. I need someone to install a cam in my 99 TA. I would like to also see it done so that I can later do it myself if I decide to go bigger.Need name if known and do they stand behind their work?
