I was driving home from work this morning. Got pulled over (Missouri, Monett) local piggy. About a month ago i got blue leds for my inside my car and the out side drls. need less to say i got a warning ticket and have to replace these lights in 48 hours and return to the cop shop for them to look at. Are these blue leds drls legal or not? :shitstorm:
You need a blue light permit for any blue lights on your car you can get it if your a fire fighter or paramedic
probably varies by state but I know here it's illegal to have blue or red lights on the front of the car.....makes people think you're an emergency vehicle. The little blue and red led windshield washer nozzles are illegal too but I doubt people get hassled for that much.
Here in Iowa it’s illegal for any vehicle to have red or blue lights with out the proper permits. I’m an EMT/Firefighter so I had to get a state issued permit to have lights in my truck.
They're illegal in Indiana too. You still see people driving with them. I had somebody behind me once that had blue lights on his dash or windshield washer and I kept looking back because it looked like a cop. Very distracting.
