Has anyone replaced this and how did you do it?
Can it be done without removing door panel etc?
The strip of rubber that runs along the top of the door on the outside
of the window.

You may be able to rip it out without taking any panels off but I'd think you may have to pull the door panel to put the new one in there and make sure all the clips/etc. are aligned.Quote:

I had the car know for about 8 months and I noticed it riding up. Found it had been glued down by someone that had the car before me.
The clips are plastic and I can see that the hook on the strip is broken.
I ordered a new one from GM dealer it has metal hooks and need to put in on.
