Got my ass handed to me by a Mercedes

I was on my way to school about 15 minutes ago. I stopped for a red light and this dark skinned guys (might have been Middle Eastern or Hispanic, I wasn't sure, pulled up next to me in this silver Mercedes. He looked over at me and nodded, I took that as a sign he was going to do something, I was wrong. I launched from the light at about 3k and took off. As I shifted to 2nd I see this silver streak flash past my passenger door.

I was stunned...he flew past me like I was standing still :sulk:

As I came up to the next light, I made sure to check the back of his car. Here's what I saw: "S65 AMG". I don't know Mercedes that well, but I do know that AMG is their "Performance Package", or something like that. This made me intrigued as to what was under that hood.

When I got to school, I made a beeline for a computer to look up "S65 AMG". I found out that it has a 604hp V12...I breathed easier knowing that he had twice my hp...not so bad after-all.

A guy here has one. never seen him race but yeah the thing is mean. Mecedes knows what they are doing if you see AMG stay away unless your packing some HP.

Just after I moved to the Philly area I was drivin with my girl and pulled up next to a blue Mercedes that had V12 badges on it (I didn't get the model though). I was lookin at the car and I got revved at, so I was like...uhh, I'm gonna get my ass kicked...the guy took off, and I flew right by him....Maybe he just couldn't drive, but I blew right by the guy after he launched on me......??? :blah: Need to get some Nitrous lol ;)

hehehe, I met an older fella at the track that had one of those. Sucker was running 11s.

That's a 200k car. Don't feel bad.

I think I saw this model a month or so ago. It was a silver Merc with an AMG V12 Turbo badge. I was at a traffic light although we were both behind several cars, I was trying to read these badges a second and third time to be sure. I wondered if this guy had some fake badges on the car because it just seems outrageous if he was legit.

nope its legit - i would buy an SL65 AMG before any ferrari/lambo etc - such beautiful cars!
