Semi-lame story, but worth sharing...

My co-workers and I were playing Trivial Pursuit tonight during downtime at work. The main reason we play is to make ourselves feel dumb...believe me it works, but there come times when we get a few questions right.

Anyway...we were playing tonight and towards the end of the game I get the following two questions in a row:

"How many cylinders does a V-8 engine boast?"

and

"What 1980's TV show's stars included a heavily customized Pontiac Trans-Am?"

My co-workers were pissed that I got such easy questions, but I was too busy laughing.

the answer is 5 because thats what V means in roman numerals and the actor was Steve McQueen, right? :lmao:

You play trivial pursuit to make yourself feel stupid? You're supposed to take the useless info with you and use it as a converstion piece in times where there is nothing good to say to someone lol.

On a similar note... We were going over equations in my algebra class and one problem had something to do with mileage...Anyway, my professor asked, "Does anyone know how many feet are in a mile?" Everyone was looking around at one another like..."uhhh...?" and I blurt out, "5280." Everyone looked at me like I was some kind of fucking loser for knowing the answer to that simple question haha. I guess I'm a wealth of useless knowledge...

Really throw 'em off and ask how longs a 1/4 mile.
