shocked to hear.... have two books and catch every tv appearance. Know he was around way before my time--but will always appreciate his humor and sad to see he's gone..
This country just lost a real hero. A real fighter for freedom of speech, and he tried so hard to open everyone's eyes to what is really going on. Every time i knew he was going to be on TV i knew that for those 5 minutes he was on i was watching someone that wasn't just trying to feed me bullshit and get me to vote a certain way and that was so refreshing in this era of pre-packaged bullshit that we are fed every single day by these fucking cooperate assholes that just want to keep us fat, drunk, and stupid.
This is one of the worst days in this country's history.
George Carlin was a great comedian. It's sad he's passed but he's left the world with much laughter to remember him by.
:( damn...
Man that REALLY FUCKING SUCKS!!!!!!

First Kalitta now my favorite comedian since Richard Pryor dies all in the same weekend.:(
WTF
Another MAJOR loss!
R.I.P. Scott and George
i'm watching bill and teds excellent adventure... i forgot he was in that movie...
Damn, that is sad. I used to listen to his albums back in the 70's, "7 things you can never say on television" - still holds true.
Its really too bad. He was one of my favorite, if not my favorite.
He was definitely a legend in his own time. He did a lot more for free speech than anybody else has since Lenny Bruce.
RIP George. We'll miss you.
The world just got a little less interesting, and a lot less funny.
RIP george
I agree. I actually teared up when I heard of his passing this morning. I NEVER do that when people that I don't even know die. He called things like he saw them and I especially loved his opinions (probably facts) on religion. RIP, George. Maybe we'll see you again in another world, realm, existence, whatever.
This......sucks.
71 is pretty good long life, RIP
r.i.p. George
