legal local 1/8 mile races at Airport wins/ losses

Wins: (all 1/8 mile runs)

1. Green "Stage 3" (so the sticker said) Pontiac Grand Prix GTP (sounded mean, but wasn't very fast)- I won by 3 cars - It was turbo charged.
2. Black M6 LS1 TA-- Won by a nose
3. White 98 Auto TA convert - Won by 2 cars
4. Red LS1 WS6- supposidly with Cam and stall (Auto ofcourse)-- I won by 1.5 cars or so. (This guy had a hood mounted tach)

Losses: (all 1/8 mile runs)

1 and 2: Red Auto TA with Loudmouth Catback and lid- lost by 2 (got me on the launch both times.
3. Black Fox body Mustang GT with some heavy modifications- (sounded like a perfromance cam)-- lost by 2.5 maybe 3 cars.
4. Grey Buick Turbo (Grand national I think)--- I lost by about 1.5 cars (got me on the launch and held it)


I think that was it for me.. If I remember any more I will post'em up.

PS: It was nice meeting everyone from LS1 who showed up.

I love watching those turbo buick and grand national run :D i had the chance to see two of them in my lifetime.

Yeah they are some badass cars my buddies dad had one when i was growing up

i love hte grand nationals... thats a respectable loss, my dad used to have one. i was just being born when those things were in their prime.

I like Grand Nationals too. RARELY see them. There is one that once in a blue moon comes to one of the car meets down here.

My camera man is supposed to be sending my races to me soon. I'll post them up as soon as I get them.

For now, here are my results:

Wins: (all 1/8 mile runs)

1. 1974 GTO Full Exhaust. That's about it. Won by 3
2.,3.+4 2000 T/A Magnaflow Catback Won by 2-3 each
5.+6. 2002 WS6 SLP Lid and Magnaflow Catback Won both by 2
7+8 2000 WS6 Weiand Intake Won by 1-2 each
9. 1998 WS6 The hood tach guy. cam/stall Won by 2


Losses: (all 1/8 mile runs)

1. Old Rat Rod Lost by alot.....
2. 1995 Viper (Guy admtd. he needed a driver mod) Lost 1.5

Judging by that video, had it been a quarter-mile race the GTP would have gotten pounced really bad. And it appeared to be supercharged, not turbo.

Yeah- If I remember correctly- I had a horrible launch-- and still passed him with ease-- looked more like 1.5- 2 cars- instead of three cars though---

sorry-- I thought it was turbo-- because he had a BOV sound- (I was unaware that Superchargers had that same sound...

this was your buddy in the black TA beating him also.

Yeah, I felt bad for Brady. It was his first time drag racing too. He couldn't get the launch down to save himself. I just got lucky and was hooking well while most people weren't

maybe its just me...but both the GTP and T/A seem to be going extremely slow.

I crossed the line around mid 80s mph. (which is about on par for 1/8 mile run for a nearly stock TA)
