Hi, I am a proud owner of a 2004 Pulse Red GTO M6 with 45,000 miles. I test drove the car, and could not figure out how to get the cruise to work. This may sound stupid, bu could someone please enlighten me on how to get it to work?
thanks:sillyme:

hey husk, it takes 2 steps to get the cruise working. at the very end of the turn signal lever there is a button (cruise enable/disable)
1st push it once to turn the cruise control on.
the outer end of the lever rotates to set the cruise and adjust the speed.
the only dumb question is the one you don't ask. congrads on the Goat, you will love it!
Thanks man! Yeah, I pick it up tomorrow and can't wait.
just a warning....watch it the 1st time you turn off the traction contol and get in to it :)
Mark you ruin all the fun.....
lol I went from a 90 cavalier with 287,000 on it the goat... first time I got into I scared the hell out of myself....god it felt oh so good :)
Sarge did you get the messege I sent you yesterday? we are stumped....do you think the 100 octane is giving us the problem with 13:1 and we need to bump up to 114 sunoco?
Kind of off topic, but what gears in the rear do the 2004 M6 GTOs have? I am askign this, because when I hammered on it, I was doing 120 in 4th, but I think it coulda pulled to around 140, because it had enough rpms left.
Right off the top of my head I'm thinking 140 is right around redline in 4th (M6)
Yeah, you're right. Sorry.
