Hey Guys. I have a friend with a '97 Z28 w/ a TruFiber SS Hood. The hood is a '93-97 style on the outside, but has the exact ram-air function design as the LS1 underneath. What all is needed to convert to an LS1 style air-box/ram-air setup on the LT.
Any information is appreciated. Thanks!
Ditch the radiator support you have and get one from an LS1 car and then all you need is a filter and a lid. Im pretty sure it just uses the outer two bolts. Oh yeah some smooth bellows too.
Okay, gotcha. My buddy is a racer that's always on a budget, and decided to use some custom-cut rubber ducting instead of a bellows from a manufacturer.Quote:

I know what you mean. I did the WS6 Hood/Air box back in 2000 to my old '95 T/A. The ram-air box alone cost me $320. :sillyme:Quote:

yeah i paid $150 for a used airbox for my T/A...still gotta get the car painted and the hood RAm air holes cut...
