Is there a place to download an electronic shop manual for my '02?
doubt it, just go buy a chilton, theyre not too expensive
Nah, I need the real deal. I am planning a Megasquirt install and need all the detailed wiring diagrams and systems operation theory.
Helms is the best and year specific, but expensive. Sometimes you can find them used on ebay.
i belive 01 was the last year for paper/bound service manuals at GM.
since then is has been all computers
Paper is still available on Helms' site for '02 - $135 + shipping. Got my set a few years ago when they had a 1/2 off sale.
That's what I'm looking for. Anybody got a copy of the shop manual on CD? I got a copy of the electronic manual for my Mustang and it's wonderful. Would love to have the same thing for my SS!Quote:

Actually, now that you mention it, I was friends with a guy I worked with, who left that job for a position at the local Chevy dealership parts counter. That was a few years ago though. I need to stop by and see if he still works there!
e bay i got mine there for 50 bucks but i guess the 02 will be more
