I just bought a 99 WS6 and I new the guy that I bought it from from said he did some tuning with his lap top to the fuel tables. I had auto zone check the codes and they include fuel tables and O2 sensors. The car runs great but I would like to go back to stock and dont want to take the chance of this guy I bought it from screwing it up. The dealer wants $175. Do I have any other choices??
yeah find someone local with a 99 hptuners license & flash in a stock OS
If the guy still has the stock tune ask him to reinstall it, then reset the PCM and have the codes scanned again after a couple days...unless you don't want him anywhere near the car.
The guy used a lap top and probably forgot what he chang and I really don't want him around the car. I plan on purchasing a scan/programmer tool. I don't guess any of them carry the stock program in them. I want to go back to stock tuning before I start my head,cam and blower install and get all the error codes corrected. It will make me feel much better when I go to dyno tune.
