Im not to mechanically heavy. Ive heard of people using like different LS intakes on different LS based engines. I have a 03 Silverado SS with the LQ9. I was wondering if I could put something like an LSX intake manifold with the 90mm throttle body on my engine. What else could I swap to increase HP?

I'm pretty sure that in order to utilize the LSX intake or even one of the factory vette/ camaro manifolds requires a different water pump due to the lower profile and throttle mounting location. Somebody correct me if i'm wrong. This is something i'm looking to do soon as well to my 2000 silverado. 5.3.
