Has anyone had any luck cleaning/polishing their headlamp lenses?

I did mine and removed the bumps/nipples at the same time. Started with wetsanding with 800 > 1000 > 2000 and polished them with Novus polish. No pics since I did it but I'm real happy with them now.
try mother metal polish on em first. . . it sometimes works wonders on plastic. if it doesn't, order the plastic headlight restoration kit from eastwood :yup: its like 40 bucks
Autozone sells a kit as well. Got a TA so I dont know how well it work. I think it was like 20 bucks when I saw it.
Novus kit and wetsanding will do the trick. Your arms will hate you but the lights will like close to new.
Thanks for the info. everyone.
Who sells the Novus kit?
PMs sent. Heres a hint, check with a few online hot tub/spa depots. They sell the kit to polish the plastic that hot tubs are made with as well.
Buffer or lots of elbow grease + rubbing compound = clean and clear lenses unless problem is inside the lens.
Here is a link to it online...take the part number to your autozone and see if they can get it...
