Couple Questions.
Ok i have a 2000 Trans Am WS6 that was wrecked. and had some frame damage. So since i missed driving the car so much i just bought an 98 Trans am. And i still have the 2000 and was wondering if i could just swap out the PCM or is it more complicated then that? And my second question is if i deiced to put the motor from the 2000 in the 98 would i have to get the computer programed? or is it fine the way it is? Has less miles on it is why i was maybe thinking of swamping the motors. But even if i don't swap i want to know if i can just swap the PCM Just buy plugging the new one in or what.. thanks

you would have to move the wiring harness over as well, to use the 2000 PCM.
swapping motors only does not need to have the PCM reprogrammed.
if you do swap the motor, might as well move the harness over as well.
