This is not really a kill story as much as a comparo. We have the use of a 2008 Corvette Indy 500 Pace Car coupe w/a 6spd auto. 436 hp is freakin awesome, the car is smoking fast and the torque literally smashes you back into your seat. It has the paddle shift option which is OK and if you have to have an auto this is the way to go. It also has the optional exhaust which sounds great when you get on it. Overall it is a great car, a little too civilized for me but handles great and is a real head turner. All my friends, especially the non car guys could not believe the way the car accelerates.
I still prefer my 02 SS 6spd, the car is rougher, louder and feels more like a true muscle car than the vette although after driving the vette it would put the hurts on my modded SS. I still prefer shifting myself and my SS has grown on me so I still like driving it better.
If I win the lottery I'm buying a vette and a Z06 would be the shit!!!
