if the engine is cold, stop where its at "Full Cold" if the engine had been running for while and is warm/hot....stop at "full hot"
Thanks man. Is there any way of telling xactly how much coolant there is. By looking underneath it do u think i cud check the level. The tank is pitc black so i cant really see. While were on the subject, do u know where to get a new serpentine belt? How long wood it take to sawp?
I don't know that you have to be that specific with coolant? I mean if the thing is full-it's full. Are you leaking coolant or what's the fear?
belts you can buy at any auto place-just tell them the year/model. It's easy to swap if you have a 2nd set of hands-then someone can push on the tensioner and hold it while you swap belts.
When I did my Waterpump I never put anything into the Coolant reseviour I filled up the radiator let it run for like 10 minutes then topped it off Then coninued to check coolant level for a couple days and addd if needed.
No problems since.
