might go from 4l60e to t5. need help!

a friend of mine told me he would sale me a t5 with everything all out of a 3rd gen he says. (clutch kit, flywheel, pedles) and my 4l60e just took ANOTHER shit on me the other day. so what im askin is will the pedles from a 3rd gen with with my 95 TA? and plz dont say just get a t56! i would but i dont wanna spend 2k on just a damn trans and still have to buy everything else! cause im in the middle of building my 80 TA and dont wanna spend much $ on my 95 right now

I know you said don't say get a T56, but I've seen em on Ebay rather cheap. I saw a brand new one for $1300. I'm sure you could pick up a used one and go through it for a good bit less.
