Hello I went to have my car inspected and they plug into the diag. port, the inspector said the port was not comm. with the computer and that the port did not have any power on it, Does anyone have a wiring diagram for this so I can try to trace the problem out, I bought a haynes manual and it does not have this diagram. Thanks car is a

First thing I'd check is be sure the CIG/ACCY fuse isn't blown - it powers the DLC port and the most likely problem. obdii.com doesn't have a complete wiring diagram, but shows the pins if the fuse is good, so you can check for power with a meter.

i meant to say i'll get you a better one in class on monday... i am sure i can take a break from rebuilding my 350 engine to look that up for u... it is automotive related... i'll also check out my friends 99 ta and ask him if he knows somthin about that.. i have a camaro.. so i cant really help u there..

oh there were a few mistakes btw.. like its a 300 and the mechanic thought the 300 was a peice of junk.... and i didnt fix my car's problem i made chevy do it for free.... since they messed it up....
