Not sure how to explain it, but you can hear it when the owner revs the engine and lets off. Sometimes its not bad...other times its HORRIBLE.
i have to ask the same question, what IS rasp? that sounds sick... was that supposed to be raspy?
If you were to compare that to a car with NO rasp you can easily tell the difference.
As for that car, I didnt spend much time looking for a car with rasp. Its actually not too bad. I'll try to find a better example.
My 02 WS6 had it. I had MAC headers & the off-road y-pipe w/ a Flowmaster muffler. Sounded like shit around 3,000 or so RPM. I put a Bullet muffler in the section behind where the cats were & sounded soooo much better!!
but what does rasp sound like? is it when the exhaust doesnt sound deep and throaty, but rather weak and windy? in that case yeah i get what is meant.
on ls1sounds, slp loudmouth with headers and an ory pipe sound really sick, i think im in love.
thats raspy. think of someone with layrengitus. losing their voice. that sound.Quote:

But who am I kidding. Exhaust is too subjective. Especially hearing it on video. It needs to be heard in person IMO.

"We're not worthy, we're not worthy!" anybody guess where that is from????
exactly. distortion and other compressing matters change the tone of it too much over the net. gotta here em in personQuote:
