I'm looking at buying a 200 WS6 and noticed the passanger side dash had a big crack along the top from front to back. Is this something common on these cars or has it most likely been in a front end collision?

Probably been in the sun too much, its not uncommon.
If you want to know for sure if its been wrecked before, run a carfax on it.
Mine had a crack to. I got a new upper dash right from my local Pontiac dealer. Took 10 mins to change out.
how much was your upper dash from the dealer?
probably only an ARM
Same thing on my 2000 WS6, I bought a VERY nice used piece off of ebay and installed in 15 minutes......
Huge difference! That cracked dash came out in serious pieces.....:uzi:

I got it for $165. I think. The GM at the Pontiac dealership is a friend and that was suppose to be a great price. I don't know for sure, i was trusting him.Quote:
