About to by a vinyl graphic for my hood... it fills in where the scoop is... well how the hell do you put those on... and how do you smooth out the bubbles when you put them on...
dillute dishwashing soap. you can buy a sticker applicator kit at an auto parts store but you dont need it. get an empty spray bottle, squeeze some dishsoap in and fill the rest up with water and mix. spray LIGHTLY (or it wont ever dry) over the area where the sticker is going and also spray the adhesive side of the decal. hold one end right where you want it and start pressing it onto the surface from the held edge outward. the soap solution will let it move around, not much though. then with the edge of a credit card, work the air bubbles from the center outward. be carefull, only moderate pressure or it will tear the graphic. let it dry for a day before you drive it so it wont lift.
its easier than it sounds, just dont rush it.
i remember i bought one of these before... and when i did it i took the vinyl off the thing it came on... which is the adhesive side??
