anyone know?
you will just have to sand and polis them till you get what you want thats what a body shop would do to
Are you talking about painting the back of the housing like this:

or are you talking about painting the inside back part black?
:cool2:
damn....makes me want to acid wash my engine bay! To bad mine is a DD. too hard to keep in that clean.
I cleaned them all up with simple green and then scuffed the backs of them with a brillo pad. I used an adhesion promotor prior to painting and used 500 degree Dupont high temp engine paint. Cleared over them a few times to finish it off.
No worries. A brillo pad, an SOS pad or something that will scuff up the plastic to help the paint stick. The adhesion promotor I use is made by Dupont as well. Its in a spray can and should be right with the spray paints. Oreilleys or any auto part store that carries paint should have the adhesion promotor.
thanks man!:)
i will. i'am painting the lights and the radiator support. I am about to order the polished engine bay kit, but i really want that brake cover that i posted.Dk who carries that one.
subscribe...this way i can try this mod when it warms up around here.
what do u think will look better on my battery cover? the plain polish look or
the SS logo and my built number engraved in clear. kinda like this but on the batery cover.
