Suspension and Rear End Questions

Excuse me, i've away from LS1's for about a year, I had a 2000 TA and then a 98 Vette. Now i bought a 2002 TA 6 speed.

I have a couple questions about the Rear Ends. What is the gearing for the Base Trans am 6 speed, what is in the WS6 6 speed?

Also i was looking Lower Control arms for the rear and there are a couple different brands, UMI, BMR, Hotchkis, Spohn and a couple others. Which one is better or are they all pretty much the same?

Should be the same, 3.42 - look for RPO GU6 on the door. I have BMR poly/poly adjustable on my car, can't speak for the others but you can get different types/bushings, etc.

All LS1+6 speed combos had 3:42 gearing.
