Hey guys just wondering what plugs do you all recommend and what gap? car is a 97 lt1 built and procharged.
Not sure if LT1's are different but I use NGK TR8 plugs on a turbo set up.
I run the NGK TR6
hey mark what gap are you running them at?
.035 Gap
the tr6's are great for nitrous, not too sure on FI, but the 7's work and the 8's are the best
TR6 0.35 gap with 8lbs of boost on my Novi 2k
I run TR6's for now, but later on I want to swap them out for 7's
Usually i err to the cool side with a blower......or turbo......or nitrous
If the motor aint detonating then ya dont need a colder plug
It depend's on your hp you are making. Tr6's would be good for 750rwhp and lower. Anything above that you should use a colder plug to help remove heat from the cylinder's!
