Rims for Pewter Camaros/Firebirds?

I'm trying to pick up some new rims for my 2000 ws6 pewter trans am, but i'm having trouble picking some out. Im not sure what sizes/colors/styles will look good. Right now i'm leaning toward some gunmetal C5 corvette rims, 17' front, 18' in the rear.

If anyone has pics of their pewter ls1's w/ aftermarket rims, please post them i'd like to see what kinda of options have. Any ideas on what kind of rims i should get opposed to the C5 gunmetals are appreciated.

What kind of price range are you looking at? The anthracite torque thrust's look great on pewter and silver IMO.

I checked out the American Racing Torq Thrust II's, someone mentioned them on another thread, and i ran into a pew picks of those anthracite's and they are pretty sweet.

I still can't find any pics of pewter t/a's with gunmetal though. In my head it looks great but i want to at least see it on paper, or computer... whatever.

But yea i'm willing to do up to $1k for set of rims, that should be more than enough for something decent.

Personally I like the ones you got, very rare. Obviously your lookin for somethin different. The regular 98-2000 WS6 rims have always been my favorite. Lakeshorewheelandtire.com sells replicas, along with every other Firebird, Camaro, and Vette rim.

Well i made the plunge, Got the C5 gunmetal vettes staggered, with kuhmo ecasta asx tires. They arrived yesterday. Will have them on tonight and pics up very soon. I'm gonna hang onto the rare salad shooters, they should be worth something later on.

nice garage and nice car, personally i wouldnt give a penny to taht ass hole boyd but thats just me im a so cal kid who has run into that asshole more than once,
