I know you guys do this too much but... 1/4th guess?

Hey guys I have a 2000 T/A and I know you guys guess for people all the time but I want you to give me a idea about what I would run, here are my mods....

2000 T/A ws6:

8 NGK TR55's
MSD 8.8 Wires
SLP Loudmouth one
3" pacesetter y-pipe
Pacesetter Longtube headers
LS7/LS2 clutch kit
SLP air lid /w K&N filter
EGR Delete
Air Pump Delete
Both cat delete
I had it street tuned by Quality Custom Racing (A local LS1 Only shop)

I will be running Hoosier QTP street drag radials and launching around 2,500-3,000 to save my rear end... What do you guys think I will run?

Uhhh.....,auto or manual trans? I have Hooker LT, ORY, lid, and Tuesday night I ran a new best of 12.89 @ 109.87. I have not had it tuned. With DRs you should be quicker than that. I have worn F1 GS D3 Goodyears, and only managed one 60 ft. launch of 2.018

I have never heard of a auto having a ls7/ls2 cluch so im guessing its a m6. lol

Lol maybe.... I also have all the free stuff... My buddy with a mustang says I will run a 13.5... Well I know it should be better than that if I can row the gears, which I can.... But I really want 13.1 or better

Your Mustang buddy is wrong. When you go to the track you will get your 13.0 @ 108, unless you guys have high elevation there? Idk what it is there...we are around 750 here. Hell, I was runinng 13.2-13.5 @ 104.5-107.3 before headers. And I don't have sticky tires.

Its like 1300 feet above sea level... the track that is

and I will have DR's.. I think I should still run better than 13.5 even with street tires

really depends on the operator... but im gonna say 13.0 ish

if you dont race alot and you dont have much suspension work id be surprised with 12's but you can get there if you can drive..

The new clutch will not help you any and it may slow you down some. It is heavier.

I'm pretty sure it helped out A LOT.... considering the old one would stick into gears lol.. I could go 1st and 2nd gear and then it acted like there was No 3rd... so yes it helped

My reference was to the LS2/LS7 clutch kit, I think it is heavier than the LS1.

That might be true who knows... I believe the flywheel was a noticeable difference lighter
