several races - tons of fun -and a C5 kill.
Flash Light drag races (legal) 1/8 mile races held at the local air port.
(won) Race 1: Raced Sentra SER (early 90's) 12 PSI Turbo, exhaust, Intake. (actually pretty quick)... I won by about 2 to 3 cars. I ended up talking to him for awhile, he was a cool guy, and wasn't your typical "ricer".
(won) Race 2: Some old Jeep Pick up truck -- I killed him (buses upon busses of lengths)
(lost) Race 3: Trans Am 98 (automatic) wouldn't reveal his modifications to me? He said it didn't have a stall converter, and I know it didn't have a cam. probably just intake/ cat-back. --- I had horrible launch. He won by a fender.
(won) Race 4: 07 GT automatic- racing stripes and a "racing" transmission that was "special ordered" lol.. I beat it by about 2 cars. And I launched horribly.
(Lost) Race 5: 2000 Z28 M6- He had Corsa cat back and SLP lid/ filter. cloth interior.--- He won by a nose literally. He pointed at me, thinking I won, and I pointed back at him, telling him he got the win light, on the lane sensor. It was a real good race.
(2 close to call)--Race 6: no one saw the trip light that we asked---
99 Vette Automatic - exhaust, intake. -- I literally spun all the way through first gear. :drivin: LOL (explanation on light)-- at then end of the 1/8 mile, A sensor goes across both lanes, the first tire to break the laser in their lane trips the lights on the winning side. - no one that we asked saw which lights came on, and neither of us knew who won, but i told him I think he got me by a mili-second.
(won)-- Race 7: 99 Vette again (same car)-- this time I beat him by 1/2 car. I pulled hard on him in second gear, but he made most of it back up during my 3rd gear. ( I really granny shift)...
so ...

1 (to close to call, but I think he probably won by less than 6 inches)
2 losses (both by a fender or less)
I was happy I beat a C5 (even though it was a 99 Automatic)
