I see a lot of ....

...should I sue threads from time to time. Let me relate a real experience less than an hour old here.

Guy who wanted to consult with one of my companies said he would work for us and earn equity in the company if he produced. So we had the lawyers draw up a limited partnership agreement that spelled out the deliverables and how they related to equity. He didn't do shit. This was like 3-4 years ago. Now that particular little company is making tons of money and here comes this worthless POS with a lawyer saying he owns 5% of it. We say...bullshit....you breached and did not perform so fuck you. He comes back with some bullshit Securities and Exchange specialist that sez we broke the law by offering "sweat equity"......

Bottom line is this....my lawyers tell me it will cost a couple hundred thousand to defend so lets offer him some money.....so we offer him $25,000....he wants $80,000....i tell my lawyers to go tell him to fuck himself and I'll see him in court.....he comes back and will take $50,000 and my lawyers are all over me telling me to settle....make it go away.....so I am paying this dickhead....who did not do anything at all.....$50,000 because that is cheaper than fighting it.
So ....when you kids ask "should I sue"...fuck yes.....just don't get greedy and make sure your settlement offer is less than the legal cost to defend and most folks will write you a check.
Hows that for the American Legal System?

Oh yeah.....I will have some Mexicans kick the living shit out of him for $500 bucks.....you didn't think I'd just let him fuck me over did you?

What a crime....in the end you have to lose money one way or another over some jerk off piece of shit that didn't hold up his end of the bargain.

The legal system here is one of the absolute worst.
I can't tell you how many times I've personally been screwed over due to the court system.

but damn for $50,000.... I would have booted the current lawyers, and got some new ones that wanted to fight, not just settle.

They could be in kahoots with their money or the opposition.

Lawyers are crooks, worse than people committing armed robbery.
At least the armed robbers actually need the money for something, lawyers are just greedy.

Worse part is he got some fucking POS lawyer on contigency...so they just split whatever they get out of me.....didnt cost him shit....
