I'd say that it's not a bad idea with that spray size to go ahead and add some Pushrods, Valve Springs, and Retainers and locks.
very new to this, is there a right kind or set up, or should i just let my speed shop pick one out for me?
No your shop may try and get the more expensive items so they make more profit on them. Do a little research and you should find them at pretty good prices.
if you want rockers that work, then get the vinci/crane accelerated lift kit. used the 1.8 rockers on the wife's car on stock cam and picked up 17 rwhp. the kit is $669.00 through vinci. comes with rockers, posi-locks, guide plates, screw-in-studs, and shorter pushrods. i also put in the matching vinci/crane springs.Quote:
