What oil pressure does your V8 run??

2002 WS6 29,000 miles

I just changed from 5W-30 to synthetic 10W-30 and my oil pressure gauge has rissen.

Cold start: 60 psi.
warm idle: 35-40psi.
when warm I floored it and it want to 70psi.

The owners manual says any thing from 20 to 80psi. is fine but what I'm running seems a bit high.

My readings are the same . I also run 10w-30 Syn oil. Numbers seem fine to me and I've never given it a 2nd thought.

2001 Z28, 107,000 miles
My oil pressure is about 60-70 cold and about 40 when running in very hot conditions at high speed. I use Pennzoil Platinum 10w-30.

yes its completely normal,now relax and drink some milk.

I run 10W/30 oil in a very warm cliamate, and my readings are the same as yours, no problem.
