hey guys i have a quick question

im rebuilding my motor and i have a 98 z28..... im putting ls6 cam on it and the ls6 heads i think my block is getting shaved 30 over.... for the rockers i dont know what to put 1.7 or 1.8 ????? stainless steel or aluminum and same with the rods trying to keep a budget... too... looking at stock ls6 parts and is it worth it to get my tb ported????? and how much power will i have if i do these mods with an ls6 intake ft ram air, bellow, zo6 maf hooker lt and offroad y and slp loudmouth???????????? i already had everything except the ls6 intake and lt header??????http://www.ls1.com/forums/images/smilies/approved.gif

Personally, I don't think the LS6 cam is worth it. You could get a better cam out there for the same or less. If you're rebuilding it, you might as well go all out, I think. But ported LS6 heads are good. And the stock 1.7 rr's should work fine.
