I have a '96 3.8 camaro with the stock 5 speed tranny of that year (whatever that happens to be). Is there any V8 that matches up to it? I'm looking at making it a project car soon and if I could just get a decent 8 and a tranny rebuild, that would be nice on the wallet and less of a hastle.
