Three kills at grudge races.
On Sat. There was a car show and 1/8 mile drag races held at a small airport, so the track is a taxiway with no traction. There was over 100 cars in the show and over 50 racing, so it was a great time. You want to race you ask someone or they ask you.
My first race was against a older Dodge pickup with a lightly worked over 455 Olds, and an auto. My 8.3@86 to his 10.5@68.
Second race was a 1974 Cuda, mostly stock auto. My 8.3@85 to his 9.2@80.
Third race was a 1972 Vette, fuel injected 427, not sure of any mods or tranny. My 8.1@85 to her 10.3@68.
Not sure how accurate the timing system is, after all they are for snowmobile ice drags. There were cars from an 06 Focus SVT to a few high 9 to low 10 sec 1/4 mile pro street cars. The town, (Cut Bank Mt.) that holds this every year only has 2000 people, so cars come from all around. Great way to spend a Saturday. I put a few pics on my webpage.
