99 tans am = 3rd gen?

why when I was at car quest do they have on there receipt "Parts for a 1999 firebird III gen" hrmmmm

maybe they mean the engine? LS1 is III gen IDK.

oh, maybe so I dont know so much about my car yet, ive only had it a few months.

but they just should have said LS1 or 4th gen. its probly just a type-o.

3rd gen engine...
