battery relocation i was thinking about relocateing my battery to the trunk for better weight distribution and traction, 04 m6 what do u guys think anyone else done this
I was going to get an AM dry cell battery which should weight less.....but the "battery in the trunk" ideea sounds interesting....before I got my 04 gto I had a bmw 850 and that thing had 2 batteries located one on each side of the trunk....lol
The only problem I see is wiring....and you have to make sure that the positive wire is isolated very good ...
do some more research....
the chargers battery is in the trunk, and ive did hot rod and weve put the battery in the trunk im just wondering how heavy the cable will be, if itll be worth it
since my stock battery died, nows the time to relocate it i guess i have acess to an ambulance, which has one of the batterys located on the rear passenger frame rail wire should be plenty big enough what do u guys think?
made alot of progress reloacted my battery to out back stock tray was looking bad from the factory battery, took me about 2-3 hrs cost me under 10 bucks :) i also put in my b&m in today its close and tight, i used the battery crap off a junk ambulance i dont know the gauge of the wire but its 2 1/2 to 3 times larger that the stock battery cable so im figuring either 1 or 0 prolly 0, even had enough flexible condiuit to do it with
well i didnt take any pics, but its working fine, the new shifter is very very good, much tighter feel and i really like it. the stock shifter is shit comopared to it, you should see the stock shifter i dont see how i dindt bend it
