i like poker and i'm decent at it. seems like i get 2nd whenever play i just can't ever finish that last guy off. texas hold 'em is about anyone seems to play anymore, always used to play 5 or 7 before WSOP

Best place was 1st in a few 180 man tourneys ($4 dollar tourneys)
Most money in one tourney was 2nd place finish in a 180 man tourney (20 dollar buy in,, I think I made like $730 or something like that.
I've won several tickets to higher dollar tourneys.. But have yet to make the big bucks.
Its a mental game. It has nothing to do with cards. I'd say I occasionally win.

If you get horrible cards the entire tourney you cannot win.
Or if you recieve Great cards, and your opponent gets great cards, and he or she is justified in playing the hand, and sucks out on you.
So cards are a big factor, but the biggest factor is definately the player.
