Seatbelt help
Hi all, new here, just bought my T/A last week. I love it, but it has one small flaw. The driver's seatbelt guide loop (the part attached to the head rest) was snapped off. I was able to remove the little bit that was still screwed on, but have not been able to find a replacement loop anywhere. I have checked with junk yards (sad to see all those junked F-bodies), autoparts stores, dealerships, online stores, all to no avail. The one exception was a place that would only sell it as part of a whole new seatbelt assembly. Anyone have any suggestions, or know a little known place that can get their hands on just the guide loop?

I actually just bought that piece from my local dealership last week it was in stock even. paid like thirteen bucks I think.

BTW-these seatbelts
The seatbelts on these cars are a lil ancient to say the least...poor design, IMHO.

Thanks Cajun, you just saved me $80. :yay:

a dealership should be able to get it. i got mine from a dealer for about 13 bucks.

That's what I thought, but the 3 dealerships I called said they do not stock just that part. They only offer the seatbelt/seatbelt guideloop combo. I tried that place that Cajun listed, but they told me they don't have it in stock anymore. I'm tempted to ask someone here to pick it up and mail it to me, after I pay them for it of course.

They're available separately - they're just too lazy or want your money - they even have different part numbers depending on the color, left or right, whether it's for a convertible or not (those have a slot in them)....
