well i did what almost everyone does and broke the sensor when removing/installing my intake manifold. it broke flush with the block. i'm sure if i go get the socket i can squeeze back there and replace it. my question is... am i leaking oil right now because of that?
should be fine as long as you don't turm the motor over. Not haveing seen what they look like though i don't know. but all the oil should be in the pan.
I doubt it is broke flush with the block, I've seen a bunch broken off where the plastic meets the metal base of the sensor, as long as you dont start the engine up you wont loose any oil...
okay yea thats what i mean.... where the plastic meets the metal. so does oil run all the way thru the sensor? if its broken where the plastic meets the metal i will lose oil?Quote:
