I took a few of the quizzes found here and did quite well considering I have no formal training.

Good find. I Aced the wire diagram and wire repair, didnt do to shabby on the starter system ethier. But I payed 20 grand to know little shit like that:brick:.Didnt try any others yet.
Me too. I think I'll buy a dealership.
Good find on this automotive testing/info.
Most of those questions arn't shit compared to a real ASE test. I fialed the E2 test a while ago by 4 questions. I was bummed. The questions get so effing complicated in the real tests.
Hell I think some of those questions were pretyt difficult!
I've got all 8, and the X1. the L1 test was the most difficult, still passed on the first try by i think 5 questions.
What kind of education (i.e. reading books, taking classes, OTJ experience, etc.) is typical for passing one of these exams?
Most of the stuff was fairly obvious to me, but there were a few things I wouldn't know without some type of instruction.
i passed all 4 student ASE Test. They were not too hard. I'm going to have to refresh when i finally get around to taking the Real tests. I need a job first :(
