So which is best guys?
the texas instruments one is best
Friend has a 56 inch dlp. The picture is the best I've ever seen no matter what size tv I could compare it to. Its clear from any angle. Playing xbox 360, it literally looks like real life. I've never been that amazed by a tv. I think the dlp makes plasma look like an incredible waste of money.
I have never seen the DLP so i went with plasma. lol. I guess i need to get out more. eh?
not at all a fan of dlp...but what the F*CK are all those other options? lmao ive never heard of most of those
By far, and being a cable guy, the best ive seen is LCD..but thats just my opinion, I dont like plasma because the image can actually "burn" the screen if on there for too long. There is nothing like a LCD with 1080p High Definition
btw for all of those who are wondering the difference in the i and p like 1080i vs 1080p
i = interlaced
p= progressive scan
I enjoy the simplicity of the fabled Overhead Projector. Didn't see an option for it on the poll though.
lcd for me......and we make the color wheels for dlp at my work....lol
i work at a tv shop and i can tell u pretty much n e thing bout those u want... dlp is personally my fav because u get a great picture with such a light tv and easy to work on... we charge the least to work on those... and if u are in a smaller room it would definitely be a lcd cuz they last longer and it would be smaller and easier to move around if you are in a smaller room... hands down its allways between those two types
stay away from brands you have never heard of.. my favs are toshiba, mitsubishi
OLED
I just wish they would hurry up and fix the problems with the technology and release some TV's already.

Yeah apparently the problems they have right now is low life expectancy. That and they can't make really large screens yet. Could you imagine a 72" display? That'd be so badass.
i just got a toshiba lcd tv. the size is awesome (37"), but i still miss my old widescreen tube... rip. still too much digital bull***t making the picture look weird.
Plasma FTW!

Man I need to stop wasting my time discussing things with misinformed people, do you need me to post an dlp or sxrd projector for you also?
