GTO Driver Killed

I know many of you probably saw this on other forums. However I felt compelled to share it here. Brian had a kick ass Lingenfelter GTO. Wasnt wearing a seat belt and rolled it around midnight this past week. Of course he came out of the car and was killed. Too young and my heart goes out to his family and friends. Watch it out there. These things have some serious horsepower and are not toys for sure. Wear your seat belts. Dont drive like ass monkeys and be safe folks......Rest in Peace Brian...............

A guy right around here died in a new GTO last year leaving Capitol Raceway. Crashed his car on the exit road. His young son was with him, son lived thankfully. Sad.

wow that sucks.. RIP i was lucky.. i drove my dads gto and went sideways and went through a tree and went across traffic and hit a sign.. i walked away from the accident with a tree branch 1 inch from going through the windshield in front of my face.. its very true to respect the power of the cars i have learned a very valuablle lesson and its a shame he had to die.. RIP and to everyone else respect the cars and drive safe

that is really sad... his family and friends are in my prayers...

maybe Ed can sticky this so taht we all can learn from his misfortune... i hope that no one from LS1 or any other board for any other matter have this happen...

this thread really makes u think alot. about driving, about responsible behavior, and about life and how short you can make it if you choose to.

we all definitely need to learn a lesson here. with a fast car, ur gonna wanna go fast and theres nothin u can do about that. this just goes to remind you of how careful u need tobe when driving fast, how aware u need to be of ur surroundings, and the fact that seatbelts can save lives
