Acceleration they are about the same with easy torque down low. 335i is just a better car. Its like comparing a GTO to a 13,000 turbo econobox. The price difference is a big factor in overall ride and quality. The qualiy of the GTO interiors is nice but you are a fool to say itis as nice as a BMW or Mercedes.
The biggest difference is the brakes. GTO has no brake feel. The 335I brakes are amazing.
I like the 335I better. Its a sedan and probably the best one in the world for under 45k.
No regrets with the GTO. Sounds great, takes a beating. 44K miles and never once had a problem. A great gar. Definetly would consider another GM product in the future. A little heavy. Never truely felt comfortable in the twisties. Did I metion the brakes suck. Great car though.
I was Basically lookin for a car that had the practicallity and power of my GTO and the handling and finesse of my s2000. With 4 doors.
