I have a complete set of Clevite ms 2199p main bearings for stock cranks. These were used to measure clearances, but never acutally run in the motor.
One of the trust bearings has some very very minute scratches on the outermost portion of the bearng face (see picture)
This would make a nice set to use as halves to get proper clearances.
