Damn right. Just got a $1.58 raise and am sittin proud at $17.10 an hour. Twenty years old(I dont know why my profile says different) and am totally happy. I wasnt supposed to get a raise untill 2 years in Cat. I have been there since Jan. 25 of last year. One year and three months. I thought I was gonna get bitched out by my supervisor for screwin somethin up from yesterday, instead I got a raise. Threw me a curve ball. Any other recently raised out there?

I got a raise like a month ago, I think, my boss didn't tell me anything, I just checked my paycheck and there it was - $0.50 more
I used to work at the home depot. It was time for annual reviews for raises. They were singing praises talking about how great I was and blah blah blah and they said, you got the full amount available for your raise, you got $0.40 I told them I didn't realize that the company was so hard up and that they could go ahead and keep the raise because from the looks of that being a "big" raise, they needed it more than I did.
I ended up getting a full dollar more. It still wasn't really as much as it probably should have been, but at least it was less of an insult.
I don't work there any more. I wouldn't work there any more.
Hey thats great HP ... I got my raise too.. But the damn cheap bastards give us a check insted of a hour raise .. Did get a differint job to do .. I tell you about it later ...
Thanks guys. Living expenses up here in the glove arnt to bad I suppose. NOTHING like Califonia. We have the WORST economy in the US of A. So even getting a job is something to be happy over.
