Door part I think?
A couple days ago my window started making a weird noise.. hard to describe... then would make a clunk when the window opened all the way down.... then yesterday when I would shut my door or move it as in opening or closing.. there would be a big clunk and I could feel something was moving... Opening it tonight and found this lying at the bottom of the door.....

What is that, where does it go, and what does it do? Now the window makes a screatching noise and shakes when it opens and closes.. so I would imagine its important.

Hey it goes to the scissor arms to help raise and lower the window.

That is going to be a bitch to get back in isn't it? Does it go back in up or down? Any special tool? Did I break something? AHHHH This thing has to hold together for atleast another 5 weeks!!!

I can't tell, never had this problem before. if you look at the scissor arms you should see where it came from. It is important because it stablizes the arms.

Heres a sample of the window regulator. I think this is from a Crown Victoria.
It gives you an idea.
I think the one on our cars is under a lot of pressure. So it might be kind of hard to get back on.
