SRT-4's CAN hang with 03 cobras.

went out tonight in the new car and ran into an SRT-4. he had exhaust, a huge front mount, BOV, intake and thats probably it. i ended up at a light with him and his passenger is staring at me. i know whats about to happen so i laugh a bit. the light turns and i take off normal and sure enough as soon as we get through the intersection BOOM! all i hear is turbo and tire squeal. so i wait a second the wrap out 1st and grab second. by the end of second the guy is probably 2 or 3 lenghts back and i hear him coming for a second the a loud ass blow off. he pulls up to the next light

him - shit dogg you gotta be runnin more than that, i beat mustangs all day.
me - i got a blower
him - no wonder dogg, that shits fast as fuck

that was all the entertainment i needed for the night.

When I read the title I was about to bash you because there's no way a stock srt-4 can hang with an 03 cobra. But nice job putting that Dodge in the dust. It's too bad he can't tell a cobra from a mustang...

Ya on occasion people get differant cars. Like one time my Dad had a F-150 and then he got a Dodge Ram, I know its weird, but it does happend.

He has been quoted before as saying he has a Mustang, while talking about his Evo in the next post. He joins the site the the name Evo 9, claims he owns one, now all of a sudden has a Cobra. I call bullshit.

Yea i hate srt owners like that......judging just by the way he talks and how you heard the BOV engage at the shifts, he doesnt know what hes doing.lol. Good KILL!!!

Interesting point?? So how bout EVO 9, do you have 2 cars? Or do you just like EVOs and Cobras, just curious?

I personally love 3 differant Cars, and would love to own all three, 03 Cobra, 05 Vette, 02 Ram Air, Just dont have the money, but maybe some day. Hell while Im dreaming, lets make it a 06 ZO6 and all the rest as well. I would also love to have a new 600 horsepower Viper, I hear they will wax a new Z, cause they lighten up and changed gears and now make 600 horse, as well as wider tires in back. Although I hear a new SS Vette is coming out that will beat the new Viper, I love America, goota love the horsepower wars. Now if they could just make em affordable????

When did you get a cobra?

I know evo 9 has an evo and a new edge GT stang (well the last time i talked to him)

i used to have a 01 GT, 06 evo, 04 cbr, and my wifes 02 sunfire. i traded in my mustang and her sunfire, and sold my bike. i traded those in for a silver 03 cobra. so now i have the 06 evo and the 03 cobra. my wife drives the evo and the cobras all mine. i "occasionally" get new cars. in case anyone is wondering here are a list of my old cars
