Window Tent Laws...

So today at work i was talking to a new worker and he said that he is allowed to have limo tint all the way around his car (btw its illegal here in IL to do that) ... he said its legal for him to do this because he has a "note" from a doctor's office that his sister works at that says he has sensitive eyes which is a line of B.S... my aunt works at an Eye doctor and im sure she could get the note from the Dr. for me (+ i really do have sensitive eyes because i shattered my right eye orbital last spring)

so i was wondering... is it legal to have limo tint (or darker than legal) if you have a note signed by a doctor? because i wouldn't mind doing this

and i totally misspelled "Tint" in the subject part.. my bad

He's full of shit....if he does have sensitive eyes the doc would make him wear blacked-out sunglasses to drive. I think the dmv would also put that on his drivers license...that he's required to wear them just like regular glasses/contacts.

you'd probably be safe one shade darker than legal haha but i wouldnt recommend it...

Seems legal in Florida and other sunny spots but you get killed in Michigan because it just gives them a reason and alot of times they make you tear it while you are pulled over. I gave up on tinting side door windows, not worth the attention.:cold:

live in florida i got limo on my z71 and light tint on my windshield and i got limo on my z28 never had a problem !!!!knock on wood..

Not worth it! Gives them a reason to pull you over and screw with you.
